Drone Fleet Used By Sky Eye Imagery

In order to complete the required task to the best of out ability we have a number of drones that we can use to fulfil your task. Each drone is different and brings its own strengths to the drone services we provide.

DJI Mini 3 Pro

The DJI Mini 3 Pro is a Sub-250g camera drone that can be flown closer to people and objects that heavier drones. This means that it works well in areas where there are likely to be more people around. The drone can shoot up to 48mp photography and up to 4K video in various formats. This is perfect drone for roof inspections.

  1. 34-Minute Flight Time: With a flight time of up to 34 minutes, we’ll have plenty of time to capture breathtaking aerial footage without worrying about frequent battery changes.
  2. Tri-Directional Obstacle Sensing: The Mini 3 Pro is equipped with obstacle sensors on three sides (front, back, and bottom). This helps prevent collisions and ensures safer flights, especially in complex environments.
  3. Intelligent Flight Modes: Like most DJI drones, the Mini 3 Pro offers intelligent flight modes that enhance your creative possibilities. Whether it’s Point of Interest, Waypoints, or ActiveTrack, these modes make capturing professional-looking shots easier than ever.
  4. Gimbal Design + Vertical Shooting: The gimbal design of the Mini 3 Pro is fascinating. It features a pivot system and a notch at the top that keeps the gimbal stable even during rapid acceleration. Unlike its predecessor (the Mini 2), which sometimes faces upward during pitch movements, the Mini 3 Pro maintains camera balance even in Sport Mode. Additionally, you can switch the camera from horizontal to vertical orientation for portrait shots—a great feature for social media content creators.
  5. Compact Size and Lightweight: Despite having more features than previous Mini drones, the Mini 3 Pro remains small and sleek, weighing less than 250 grams. Its foldable design makes it an ideal travel companion—you can easily slip it into your pocket or backpack without feeling weighed down.
  6. Camera Sensor: The DJI Mini 3 Pro boasts a larger sensor (1/1.3) compared to its predecessor (Mini 2). it delivers impressive image quality for its size.

DJI Air 3

The DJI Air 3 is a slightly heavier drone at 720g. This means that it is more restricted in where it can fly and how close it can fly to uninvolved people. That said, the drone has two very strong cameras that are great for wide area land and property photography and videos. The 70mm camera means that the drone can loiter well away from a location and still pick up important details that will be vital for your project.

  1. Dual Cameras: The DJI Air 3 comes equipped with two powerful cameras—a wide-angle camera and a 3x medium telephoto camera. This allows you to capture breath-taking details of any scene with dual-camera 48MP photos and 4K HDR video.
  2. Flight Time: Enjoy optimized flights with a 46-minute max flight time. This extended flight duration allows us to explore and film our subjects without worrying about battery life.
  3. Obstacle Sensing: The drone features omnidirectional obstacle sensing, which helps prevent collisions and ensures safer flights.
  4. High-Quality Imaging: The wide-angle camera has an aperture of f/1.7, while the medium telephoto camera has an aperture of f/2.8. Both cameras offer excellent image quality, even in challenging lighting conditions.
  5. Image Sensors: The wide-angle camera uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with an effective pixel count of 48 MP, while the medium telephoto camera also uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with the same pixel count.
  6. Photo Modes: Capture single shots, burst sequences, and timed photos in both wide-angle and medium telephoto modes. The drone supports JPEG and DNG (RAW) formats for still photography.
  7. Video Modes: Shoot high-quality videos in various resolutions, including 4K at up to 60 fps and Full HD at up to 200 fps (for creative slow-motion shots).

DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise is an extremely powerful and feature rich drone that features two high power cameras, one with a superb mechanical zoom. This is one of the main go to drones for large area drone survey photography that is perfect for farms, real estate and developments. The drone imagery can be orthorectified to provide 2D and 3D models down to 1cm accuracy.

  1. Camera for Speedy Precision Surveys: The Mavic 3E features a wide camera sensor with 20 MP (DJI Mavic 3T has a 48 MP sensor) and an aperture range from f/2.8 to f/11. It allows for precise imaging and mapping during surveys and inspections.
  2. Powerful Safety and Connectivity Features: With a mechanical shutter, the drone captures sharp images even during fast movements. It also boasts an RTK module for centimetre-level precision, ensuring accurate positioning.
  3. Optimized for Flight and Mission Efficiency: The Mavic 3E offers a maximum flight time of 45 minutes (no wind) and a hover time of 38 minutes (no wind). Its maximum flight distance reaches up to 32 km, allowing for extended missions.
  4. Comprehensive Software Suite and Powerful Developer Tools: The drone works with robust software tools for flight planning, data analysis, and customization.
  5. Long battery life: With four batteries the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise can fly large area missions for over 2 hours if required, collecting high quality imagery for exploitation once it lands.
